About Our Export Operation

Egyptian Marble Export Managed End-to-End from Cairo

Shawkat Stone is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Egyptian marble exporter based in Cairo, established in 2019 with a focus on one thing: making Egyptian marble export straightforward, reliable, and fully accountable for wholesale buyers worldwide.

As a direct manufacturer, we control every stage from sourcing blocks at Egyptian quarries through factory processing, quality inspection, export packing, and transport to port. Furthermore, we operate our own transport company, meaning the chain from factory floor to container yard is under our direct management with no third-party handoff.

B2B wholesale export only. We export to stone distributors, importers, and fabricators ordering in container quantities. We do not export to retail customers or individual buyers.

Export vs Supplier — What This Page Is About

The Logistics Side of Egyptian Marble

If you are evaluating Egyptian marble varieties and quality, visit our Egyptian marble supplier page. This page focuses on the export process how your order gets from our Cairo factory to your destination port, what documentation comes with it, and what the full logistics chain looks like.

Why the Export Process Matters

Most delays, claims, and problems in stone import happen not at the production stage but at the export stage incorrect documentation, poor packing, unreliable transport to port, or missed container bookings. Our export operation is structured to eliminate each of these failure points. As a result, clients who have worked with us across multiple shipments consistently cite on-time delivery and clean documentation as the reasons they stay.

Export Process

How We Export Egyptian Marble Step by Step

Six stages from your RFQ to container delivery each documented, confirmed in writing, and managed by our export team.

01

RFQ & FOB Quotation

Submit your marble variety, dimensions, finish, quantity, and destination port. We respond with a detailed FOB Cairo quotation within 24–48 hours itemizing stone cost, processing, and packing so you can compare on a like-for-like basis with other suppliers.

02

Sample Shipment & Approval

For clients who require sample verification, we can provide physical marble samples before production. Sample and shipping costs are charged to the client. After you review and approve the color, finish, and quality in hand, we proceed with production based on your written confirmation, ensuring complete alignment with your expectations.

03

Order Confirmation & Production

Stone specs, quantity, pricing, payment terms, and target ship date confirmed in writing. Production begins in our ISO 9001:2015 certified Cairo factory multi-stage quality inspection at every step: cutting, calibration, finishing, and pre-packing approval.

04

Export Packing

Export-grade packing selected based on stone format and destination wooden crates, pallets, bundles, or block shipping. All wooden packing is heat-treated and fumigated to ISPM 15 international standards. Every unit labeled for safe handling at port and warehouse.

05

Transport to Port & Container Loading

Our own transport company moves the packed order from factory to container yard no third-party handoff. Specialized stone-handling equipment used throughout. Loading is photographed at every stage and documented before the container is sealed. Client receives photo confirmation before departure.

06

Shipping Documents & Departure

Full documentation package prepared and issued before vessel departure: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and Phytosanitary Certificate where required. All documents sent to the client electronically before the vessel sails.
