FOB Cairo Global Granite Export
Shawkat Stone — ISO 9001:2015 certified Egyptian granite exporter. We manage the complete export process: production, quality control, export packing, own transport to port, and full shipping documentation FOB Cairo to your destination worldwide.
About Our Export Operation
Shawkat Stone is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Egyptian granite exporter based in Cairo, established in 2019 with a focus on one thing: making Egyptian granite export straightforward, reliable, and fully accountable for wholesale buyers worldwide.
Specifically, as a direct manufacturer, we control every stage — from sourcing blocks at Egyptian quarries through factory processing, quality inspection, export packing, and transport to port. Furthermore, we operate our own transport company, meaning the chain from factory floor to container yard stays under our direct management with no third-party handoff.
Export vs Supplier — What This Page Is About
If you are evaluating Egyptian granite varieties and quality, visit our Egyptian granite supplier page. Instead, this page focuses on the export process — how your order gets from our Cairo factory to your destination port, what documentation comes with it, and what the full logistics chain looks like.
Most delays, claims, and problems in stone import happen not at the production stage but at the export stage — incorrect documentation, poor packing, unreliable transport to port, or missed container bookings. Therefore, our export operation is structured to eliminate each of these failure points. As a result, clients who have exported Egyptian granite with us across multiple shipments consistently cite on-time delivery and clean documentation as the reasons they return.
Export Process
Six stages from your RFQ to container delivery — each documented, confirmed in writing, and managed by our export team.
First, submit your granite variety, dimensions, finish, quantity, and destination port. Then we respond with a detailed FOB Cairo quotation within 24–48 hours — itemizing stone cost, processing, and packing so you can compare on a like-for-like basis with other suppliers.
Next, for clients who require sample verification, we can provide physical granite samples before production. Sample and shipping costs are charged to the client. After you review and approve the color, finish, and quality in hand, we proceed with production based on your written confirmation, ensuring complete alignment with your expectations.
Once samples are approved, stone specs, quantity, pricing, payment terms, and target ship date are confirmed in writing. Production then begins in our ISO 9001:2015 certified Cairo factory — with multi-stage quality inspection at every step: cutting, calibration, finishing, and pre-packing approval.
Subsequently, export-grade packing is selected based on stone format and destination — wooden crates, pallets, bundles, or block shipping. In addition, all wooden packing is heat-treated and fumigated to ISPM 15 international standards. Every unit is labeled for safe handling at port and warehouse.
Then our own transport company moves the packed order from factory to container yard — with no third-party handoff. Specialized stone-handling equipment is used throughout. In addition, loading is photographed at every stage and documented before the container is sealed. The client receives photo confirmation before departure.
Finally, the full documentation package is prepared and issued before vessel departure: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, and Phytosanitary Certificate where required. All documents are sent to the client electronically before the vessel sails.
Shipping Options
We offer both FCL and LCL container options for Egyptian granite export, with our own transport fleet managing the factory-to-port leg for every shipment.
20ft and 40ft containers dedicated to your shipment. No co-loading, no consolidation delays, direct port-to-port. As a result, it is the most cost-effective option per square meter for regular wholesale orders. Standard for our established distributor relationships in Greece, Cyprus, USA, and Germany.
For smaller wholesale orders or first trial shipments, your cargo is consolidated with other shipments going to the same port. Therefore, it is flexible for buyers placing first orders, testing a new stone variety, or managing mixed-product imports from multiple suppliers.
Shawkat Stone operates its own transport company for factory-to-port logistics. As a result, every order moves under our direct control — specialized stone-handling equipment, documented loading, and no accountability gap between factory gate and container yard.
